Mixed Martial Art
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) came to fame with the arrival of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a competition putting variours martial artist of different styles against each other.
Eventually competitors began to merge different styles to give themselves a rounded skill base as a fighter. The most used styles thrown into this mix are: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, boxing, kickboxing and thai-boxing(Muay Thai), this effective blend of martial arts is what is known as MMA.
The class operates by teaching how to use these skills in a confident, fluent and effective manner for self-defence or competition having Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as its main base.
